Adele handed the recordings of her three-song demo to a friend, who then uploaded them on MySpace. Numerous people liked her song, which resulted in a call from the record company XL Recordings. She then invited her friend to the meeting, questioning the validity of the offer. Adele joined the label in September 2006 when the legitimacy of the offer was established.

In 2008, Adele published her first album, 19, which included the hits Chasing Pavements, Make You Feel My Love, and Cold Shoulder, as well as the first-ever BRIT Awards Critics' Choice. It debuted at Number 1 in the UK, and it's estimated that 7 million copies have been sold globally. For the album, Adele received a Mercury Prize nomination.

Adele's breakthrough single, the breakup anthem, catapulted her to international stardom and top-charting success. At the 2012 Grammy Awards, it won Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Short Form Music Video as the lead single from her second album, 21.

With the release of 21, the renownedly secretive vocalist emerged again after three years of radio-quiet. Another commercial and critical triumph. In contrast to her debut album, 21 wins six Grammys, tying the record, and two British awards. The theme song for the James Bond movie of the same name, Skyfall, is released by Adele. Adele became the first artist to win both awards two years in a row when she was crowned Billboard Artist of the Year in December 2012 and 21 was voted Album of the Year. She was also recognized as the year's best entertainer and top female performer.

Skyfall became the first Bond theme to win an Oscar, while not reaching the top of the official UK singles chart. Adele and co-writer Paul Epworth (pictured) won the Academy Award for Best Original Song and the Golden Globe for their work. It receives praise from both the general audience and the media, becoming the best-selling album of the year and smashing first-week sales records in the US and UK. The fastest-selling album in UK chart history debuted at Number 1 in the country. It was the most popular album globally in 2015 and topped the UK charts for seven weeks.

Adele's 25 tops the Billboard 200 chart for a seventh consecutive week, making it the first album by a woman to do so since 1987 (and the first since Nielsen Music started using electronically scanned point-of-sale data to power the chart in 1991). Just 87 days earlier, the Hello video broke Psy's Gangnam Style's 158-day record for the fastest YouTube video to reach 1 billion views.

In 2016, Adele embarked on her third international tour, Adele Live 2016, and took home four BRIT Awards: British Female Solo Artist, Global Success Award, British Album of the Year for 25, British Single of the Year for Hello, and British Single of the Year for When We Were Young. She also performed at the ceremony. She also marries Mr. Konecki in a private ceremony, but she manages to keep the details confidential due to her jealously guarded privacy.

In 2017, Adele resumed her global tour, in which she finished with two performances at Wembley. She had added two more, but she had to remove them since she had hurt her voice. The amazing singer took home all five of her nominations at the 2017 Grammy Awards: Hello won Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance, while 25 won Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.

Adele fueled rumors on her 31st birthday that an album would be coming soon after taking time off in 2018 and 2019 to focus on new music by posting a message to her Instagram page that ended with the phrase ‘30 will be a drum n bass record to spite you’. Regarding her private life, Adele and Simon went their separate ways in April, according to the singer's agents, and she for divorce in September of that year.

The coronavirus pandemic has caused a delay in the production and release of Adele's fourth album, despite reports that the singer is close to finishing it. She hosts Saturday Night Live in October, her first on-camera appearance in four years. She makes light of her spectacular weight reduction and her fans' frustration with her record while making jokes about it.

The home where the video for Hello was recorded is even used in a few parts of this one. The song is the lead track from Adele's upcoming album, 30, which is scheduled to be released in November.

Adele's album 30 was published on November 19, 2021, and it quickly rose to the top of the charts in 24 different countries. The album had the biggest first-week sales for a female artist since Adele's own 25 in the UK and debuted at the top of the Official Albums Chart. It was Adele's third straight number-one album on the US Billboard 200 chart and the best-selling album of the year.

Adele appeared with Mastercard on the red carpet at The BRIT Awards 2022 and was astounded. Adele not only gave us all a breathtaking performance of the song I Drink Wine, which is on her most recent album 30, but she also won three trophies. She now holds a record-breaking 12 BRIT Awards after winning prizes for Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Mastercard Album of the Year.
