As the highly-anticipated show is set to return to Australia for the 2023 series after two years at Gwrych Castle in North Wales due to the Covid-19 pandemic, let's take a look back at previous winners from 21 series so far and what they are doing after winning the much-coveted crown.

BBC veteran Tony Blackburn became the first King of the Jungle in 2002, impressing the audience with his natural sense of humor. After the triumph, the 77-year-old presenter went back to his profession and has since hosted a wide variety of BBC radio shows, including Sounds of the 60, BBC Radio London, Saturday Lunchtime, and Tony's Blackburn's Playlist. In 2020, Blackburn launched a new series of podcasts titled Ricky and Tony's Pop Detectives alongside co-host Ricky Wilson.

Phil Tufnell was a famous England cricketer with a successful sports career. Fresh from retirement, he joined I'm A Celeb in 2003 and won the show's second series. Afterward, the 56-year-old went on to become a popular TV personality thanks to his cheerful behavior. Carol Thatcher was the famous daughter of the UK's former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. She became the second Queen of the Jungle after beating TV favorite David Dickinson in I'm A Celeb 2005. After leaving the show, Thatcher continued her journalism career as a BBC correspondent but was later sacked following an accusation of her racist comment to a black tennis player.

Matt Willis first rose to prominence as the vocalist of the three-piece band Busted, which earned him a place in I'm A Celeb 2006. Joe Swash first found fame in 2003 as Mickey Miller in the BBC One soap opera EastEnders. In 2008, Joe Swash became the King of the Jungle, which earned him a hosting place in the show's spin-off from 2008 until his departure in 2019. The crown was not the only treasure that Swash took from I'm A Celeb, however, as he also met his other half - Stacey Solomon, and eventually married the show's 2010 winner in 2020. He became the champion of Dancing On Ice 2020.

Italian chef Gino D'Acampo became the winner of I'm A Celeb in 2009. The triumph catapulted him into the limelight, earning D'Acampo a string of roles in various cooking shows such as Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip, and Gino's Italian Escape. Stacey Solomon first rose to fame as the runner-up on The X Factor 2009, before becoming Queen of the Jungle one year later. It was also thanks to I'm A Celeb that Solomon found her partner and now husband, Joe Swash. In 2015, Solomon released her first album, Shy before establishing herself as a regular Loose Women panelist in 2016.

Dougie Poynter was a bassist from the chart-topping English band McFly. He won I'm A Celeb in 2011, which helped jump-start his musical career. He continued to embark on tours with his band before joining former winner Matt Willis to form the mash-up band McBusted in 2013.

Season 12 winner Charlie Brooks was famous as Jannine Butcher on the BBC soap EastEnders before quitting the role in 2014. Aside from acting, Charlie is also a social media personality thanks to her fitness tutorials and books. Her fitness DVD even became the UK's best-selling fitness DVD release.

Kian Egan first burst into the public eye as the vocalist in the famous band Westlife. Former motorcycle racer Carl 'Foggy' Fogarty became the winner of I'm A Celeb in 2014, impressing viewers with his aggressive competitiveness. Since leaving the show, the superbike champion has remained out of the spotlight and focused on charity work.

Vicky Pattison entered I'm A Celeb in 2015 with a view to reviving her fledging career after quitting Geordie Shore. Series 16's winner was Scarlett Moffatt, who is famous for her role in the reviewing show Gogglebox. Following her triumph in the jungle, Moffatt has become one of the most active entertainers, with notable roles in Celebrity Bake Off, Apocalypse Wow, and The Chase Celebrity Special. The 32-year-old TV personality is also the co-host of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Georgia Toffolo rose to prominence thanks to her role in Made in Chelsea. Her down-to-earth personality helped Toffolo become the Queen of the Jungle in the I'm A Celeb 2017 series. After leaving the show, the 27-year-old TV personality landed a hosting gig on This Morning. Toffolo is also the author of several novels, such as Meet Me in London and Meet Me in Hawaii.

Former football coach Harry Redknapp managed various European clubs such as Tottenham, Queens Park Rangers, and Southampton. Danny Miller, who was famous for his role as Aaron Dingle in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, was the first King of the Castle after I'm A Celeb couldn't take place in the Australian jungle due to the pandemic. His latest project is unveiled to be a Youtube weekly vlog, which will feature Miller alongside his wife Steph Jones and son Albert. The actor will also be seen on the stage as the lead character in Jack and The Beanstalk, which will run at the Bradford Theatre from December 10 to January 22 next year.
