In 2009, Queen Elizabeth II admitted Hamilton into the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire as part of her New Year's honours list. Hamilton went on earn a knighthood in the 2021 New Year's Honours by the Queen.

During an interview with James Corden, Hamilton admitted that his superstitions initially started with a lucky conker. Later Hamilton developed a sequence of steps to follow before a race but later decided to get rid of these habits altogether.

If you follow Lewis on Instagram, you will likely have seen his impressive recording setup. Under the alias 'XNDA', Hamilton featured on Christina Aguilera's 2018 album, "Liberation". His contribution was a brief rap on the track "Pipe", which he shared on social media.
